Strength & Conditioning

Strength & Conditioning is important for people of all ages. It is defined as the practical application of sports science to enhance your movement quality to improve performance.

Our Physiotherapists are experienced helping professional athletes, including those at the highest level of their sports, competing at the Paralympics.

Strength & Conditioning is important to:

Often, we have found that traditional physiotherapy will help people to simply ‘reduce pain’. However, we understand that becoming free from pain does not mean you are maximising your full potential in your daily life or in your sports.

Our Physiotherapists have a unique approach developed by their mentor and Physiotherapist to multiple professional rugby teams, golfers and other athletes – Dave O’Sullivan.

This approach helps to ensure you go from ‘free from pain’ to resilient, achieving ‘thoughtless, fearless movement’.

We have many patients that go on to start with our Physio-led Personal Training Services after the completion of their Physiotherapy management plan. This is where we go through supervised sessions with people to provide them with a safe environment to push their bodies, learn new exercises and perform weight training exercises they may have not felt confident to do without supervision.

Our Physiotherapists can set you up with a home or gym based strength & conditioning programme, whilst supporting you on your journey to ensure you maximise your results.
