Pre and Post Surgery
Our Physiotherapists are experienced at helping people both before and after an operation. Whether you have had or are having a total knee or total hip replacement, ankle or knee ligament reconstruction or abdominal surgery, our Physiotherapists can help you.
We often find that pre and post-operative Physiotherapy within the NHS is limited. While before and after some operations you can have NHS Physiotherapy appointments, this is often only a small handful of sessions and often doesn’t take you to mid-higher level of rehabilitation exercises, instead, only focusing on the early rehabilitation. It is important to work towards higher levels of exercise challenge, variability and intensity so your body can cope with the high demands of our daily life and activities.
Our Physiotherapists can help you to reduce your worries, ensure you are clear on the pre and post operative process and answer any questions you may have including what can I and can’t I do?
We can support and guide you through the process, to ensure you successfully recover from the operation and achieve all of your goals, returning to the things you love most.
Our Physiotherapists have even helped people to prevent surgery by completing a thorough rehabilitation plan.
