What to expect?
You will start by having a free consultation with one of our Physiotherapists. They will discuss your training history, injury history and goals. Your Physiotherapist will then map out a progressive strength and conditioning training plan.
Your first session will include an assessment of some key movements/key performance indicators. This could include looking at your range of movement in the key joints, strength in the key muscles and joints and cardiovascular fitness. This will be your baseline measurements. We will then re-assess this at regular intervals to measure your progress.
Your Physiotherapist will set you a realistic and achievable programme to complete at home between your supervised one to one sessions.
If you have a friend or family member who wants to join you, we also offer two to one Physio-led Personal Training sessions. It is important that your ability levels are similar for this to ensure the session can work well together.
What if I have a current injury?
Depending on the type of injury, it may be appropriate to have some one to one physiotherapy appointments prior to starting the physio-led personal training sessions. This can ensure that if appropriate, we can perform any hands on treatment techniques that will help you to perform at your best and complete exercise with as little to no pain as possible.
